Common Errors & Fixes

Use these quick checks for frequent issues.

Upload failed

• Verify you’re on a stable network; retry after a few seconds.
• Large videos may hit upload limits; try a shorter capture (recordings are limited to 2 minutes).
• If retries keep failing, contact [email protected] with the time and issue link.

Replay not available

• Instant Replay needs permission and available local data. Ensure you used the same tab and that replay is enabled.
• Try reproducing again and trigger Instant Replay promptly (captures ~2 minutes of recent activity).

Integration error

• Re‑authenticate Slack/Jira/GitHub from the Integrations page.
• Confirm you have access to the target channel/project/repository and that it’s selected.

Permission denied (microphone/screen)

• Allow mic/screen permissions when prompted. See “Audio/Mic problems” and “Incognito not available”.

Not permitted on this page

• Chrome restricts extensions on certain pages (e.g., Chrome Web Store, chrome://).
• Use a different page or capture the parent context (for iframes/CSP limitations).
